It is Finished.
I just have to share how cool that the world can be. Last night I am surfing and decide not to prolong my move to the new server. I hit a few searches and find one that looks like it will do most of what I want, and for the price that I require - free. I type in a few commands and viola! it is done. Oops, didn't move my files from Tripod over first. Oops, new laptop (week old) doesn't have FTP. Oops, don't have anything to generate decent HTML. So, you get a pretty boring opening page for a bit while I start putting the pieces together. Suppose that this is a good time to brush up on some of those HTML skills anyway. Going to start putting together the commercial version of the site in beta while I get the rest of the pieces together. This should be a fun ride!
This was movie weekend for the family. Saw The Day After Tomorrow at the local cineplex and watched 4 movies at home on my beautiful 80 inch projection system with surround sound. Awesome experience, even if I do have to tear apart nearly every sound system that I own to make this work. The kids loved it. We did all three Lord of the Rings movies (something like 11 hours total) and then watched Paycheck with Ben Afleck (he stars in it, he wasn't over at my house to watch it). Lots of fun.
