Well here is something that you won't see everyday, me posting at 1:30 in the morning. Ate a huge plate of nachos this afternoon and they decided to take 12 hours to work on me. So, here I am. What does the Digital Guy do at 1:30 in the morning? Pretty much the same thing that I do at any hour that I have to surf. I look at Photoblogs! Well, that and looking for that rare car that I just have to have on eBay. I am debating tonight whether to purchase a 75' Bicklin or a 2003 Saleen S-7. The Bricklin is one of about 2000 models left (700 for that year). It has gullwing doors and a Ford 351 engine. Looks cool just sitting there with the doors open. Probably could pick this thing up for under $10k. The Saleen is one of 48 and has a 7 liter, 576 HP v-8 and goes in excess of 200mph (my personal goal). The current asking price is $400k, but they will likely see something in the $500k range when all is said and done.

Whenever I say something about wanting to go over 200mph someone inveriably says "why would you want a car that goes that fast when you can't go over 65mph?" It's kind of like asking how much a car costs. If you can't afford it, don't ask. Well, if you have to ask the question about how fast a car goes then you wouldn't understand the need to have one that goes that fast!

True, I rarely get the opportunity to take my baby to the top end. But it is the thrill of knowing that it is there. Had a kid in a rice burner toy with me last week, what a joke. Some kid puts a loud muffler and some ground effects on a Civic and he thinks he's a street racer. He bragged that his top end was 120mph. How sad.

Time to look at some muscle cars and then get back to bed.
