What a weird world. I am sitting in my office, a converted 1875 log cabin, looking at a field of grass. In the distance is a terrific national park. Yet, with a few clicks of this keyboard I am connected to the world! I can listen to radio stations playing any kind of music (or talk) that I like, in any language that I prefer. I can book my flights, car, and hotel - something that required a travel agent not too many years ago. I can instantly see the weather where I am going, including an up to the minute picture from space of the storms in the area. I listen to music digitally as I use my mapping software to plot my entire trip. And here I sit, listening to the birds and bugs outside my screen door, in the middle of Kentucky.
