Back to the Lens: So sorry for the delay. I knew that this time of my life was going to be really busy and I really couldn't say anything. I have changed positions with my company and for a little over a month I was attempting to do both jobs. It was a time to test my integrity because it would have been better to slack at my former job while I was starting the new one. But that is not how God made me and I served strong until the end. The last day on the road was brutal and I think for the first time in my career I didn't give 100%, but it was just from being road weary.
The new career move is terrific, albeit a little scary at times. I am now longer an employee and am now an employer. I am currently spending a lot more than I make on things like rent, salaries, etc. But, I know that things will be shifting in my favor quickly. I am grateful for a wife who has faith in my and trusts that God will take care of us.
I am doing something different with my "daily" pictures. I decided to "catch up" instead of just showing the 60 day hyatus. If I just add a weeks worth each day I will be back to where I should be in a week or so. I have a small archive of things that I wanted to post. I didn't slack in the picture taking during the "break". I shot the church directory and that was about 5 gigs of pictures. The new light set worked great. I borrowed a backdrop from a guy at church that I might make an offer on after a couple of months. To those who where checking daily, thanks, sorry I let you down. I will try to be better in the future.
[Tori, thanks for bugging me every single day to get the site updated. I love you baby girl!]
