The grand prize for a visitor to TheDigitalLife.net will be a new Holga, but in entering this contest you will have a chance to win a trip for two to London for the World Lomography Congress. There are also over a hundred cameras that will be given away, some really cool stuff.

How to enter: Go to the AbsolutLomo web site and login and then upload a picture. Once it is up, give me the link and I will enter you in TheDigitalLife contest. The AbsolutLomo contest ends February 28, TheDigitalLife Lomo contest will end March 11.

Hey, you know how a lot of contests state that you can't be a member of the family, work for the company, etc.? Well that doesn't apply here. My kids, folks, sister, unknown brother, 15th cousin - 7 times removed, all qualify. If you work for my agency, an affiliated company, or work in a building near me - you are in.

Second chance: If I don't get some folks who enter by entering the contest I  am still giving the camera away to people who just visit TheDigitalLife and send me a note to say that they were here (even if they don't like it). So send your e-mail here!

How you can help: Spread the word! I haven't done a contest before. If I get a lot of response to this I might do another in the spring. I have a goal of getting a couple hundred people to enter.

About the Lomo Holga Camera. The camera is based on an original Russian design of an inexpensive medium  format camera. There are some unusual effects from using this kind of camera. The pictures are not as sharp as some cameras, and the quality of the pictures is usually highly saturated. This is part of the Lomo-effect.  The film is fairly inexpensive (like 35mm) but getting it processed might take a little research. For those living in Southern Kentucky, Shutterbug will do it.  To the winner of the contest, I will throw in a roll of film.
